To all who responded about Maxine...?

Thanks to all who responded to the death of my cat Maxine. I really appreciated it. We had her funeral today and we%26#039;ll finish planting the flowers tommorow. I feel as though there%26#039;s a hole in my heart right now, but I know she%26#039;s happy right now and that%26#039;s all I can ask God for...

Here are some pictures. One is of her on the first day we picked her up and the other is one with me (at 17 I%26#039;m 21 now) with Max at her first X-Mas with us.

To all who responded about Maxine...?
Such a beautiful baby, who turned out to be a beautiful cat. I am so sorry for your loss. I know it will be hard to get over her. My heart goes out to you.

The Rainbow Bridge

There is a bridge connecting Heaven %26amp; Earth.

It is called the Rainbow Bridge because of its colors.

Just this side of the Rainbow Bridge there is a land of

meadows, hills and valleys with lush green grass.

When a beloved pet dies, the pet goes to this place.

There is always food and water and warm spring weather.

The old and frail animals are young again. Those who

are maimed are made whole. They play together all day.

There is only one thing missing: They are not with

their special person who loved them on Earth.

Each day they run and play until the day comes

when one suddenly stops playing and looks up!

The nose twitches! The ears are up! The eyes are staring!

And this one suddenly runs from the group.

You have been seen, and when you and your special friend meet,

you take him or her in your arms and embrace.

Your face is kissed again and again, and you look once

more into the eyes of your trusting friend.

Then you cross the Rainbow Bridge together,

never again to be separated.

I hope this poem brings you some peace of mind someone gave it to me when I lost Dusty. Good Luck
